1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

The Chesapeake Regional Association of Student Councils ("CRASC") welcomes you. CRASC provides its service to you subject to the following Terms of Service ("TOS"), which may be updated by us from time to time without notice to you. Any Non-Human Visitors to CRASC-Online.org ("the Website") shall be considered agents of the individual(s) who controls, authors or otherwise makes use of them. The access rights granted to you under the Terms of Service are non-transferable without the express written permission of CRASC.

2. ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS

CRASC is operated by the Office of Student Leadership & Involvement of Anne Arundel County Public Schools ("AACPS"). However, the Website is subject to the following provisions:

a. The Website is not affiliated with Anne Arundel County Public Schools and may contain links that are independently managed World Wide Web Sites and out of our control. While every effort has been made to evaluate the sites to which we link, we cannot control the content that may appear on these or related links.

b. The Website is NOT sponsored by Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS). Therefore, AACPS is NOT liable for any damages resulting from the use of the Website, and may or may not possess the views expressed on the Website.

3. SPECIAL LICENSE RESTRICTIONS FOR NON-HUMAN VISITORS

Special restrictions on a visitor's license to access the Website apply to Non-Human Visitors. Non-Human Visitors include, but are not limited to, web spiders, bots, indexers, robots, crawlers, harvesters, or any other computer programs designed to access, read, compile or gather content from the Website automatically.


Email addresses on the Website ("CRASC Email Addresses") are considered proprietary intellectual property. It is recognized that these email addresses are provided for human visitors alone. You acknowledge and agree that each CRASC Email Address the Website contains has a value not less than US $50. You further agree that the compilation, storage, and/or distribution of these addresses substantially diminishes the value of these addresses. Intentional collection, harvesting, gathering, and/or storing this Website's email addresses is recognized as a violation of this agreement and expressly prohibited.

VISITORS AGREE THAT HARVESTING, GATHERING, STORING, TRANSFERRING TO A THIRD PARTY OR SENDING ANY MESSAGE(S) TO CRASC EMAIL ADDRESSES CONSTITUTES AN ACCEPTANCE AND SUBSEQUENT BREACH OF THESE TERMS OF SERVICE.

4. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

CRASC provides visitors to our site with content relating to the Chesapeake Regional Association of Student Councils. We allow users to contact our officers through our Staff page. This privilege shall not be abused through any contact deemed to be abusive or sent primarily for unsolicited commercial advertisement purposes, as set forth later in this document.

5. USE OF SERVICE

You agree to not use the Service to:

1. upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortuous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;
   
2. harm minors in any way;
   
3. impersonate any person or entity, including, but not limited to, a CRASC official, forum leader, guide or host, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity;
   
   
4. upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, "junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes," or any other form of solicitation, except in those areas (such as shopping) that are designated for such purpose (see sections );
   
   

5. interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service, or disobey any requirements, procedures, policies or regulations of networks connected to the Service;
   
6. intentionally or unintentionally violate any applicable local, state, national or international law, including, but not limited to any regulations having the force of law;
   and/or
   
7. "stalk" or otherwise harass another.
   
   

6. INDEMNITY

You agree to indemnify and hold CRASC and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, employees, partners and licensors harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of Content you submit, post, transmit or otherwise make available through the Service, your use of the Service, your connection to the Service, your violation of the TOS, or your violation of any rights of another.

7. DEALINGS WITH ADVERTISERS

Your correspondence or business dealings with, or participation in promotions of, advertisers found on or through the Service, including payment and delivery of related goods or services, and any other terms, conditions, warranties or representations associated with such dealings, are solely between you and such advertiser. You agree that CRASC shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of any such dealings or as the result of the presence of such advertisers on the Service.
